Membership Types

* Provisional is a one-time membership and is restricted to persons who have never previously been an NHPA member.

A Provisional membership is a reduced fees membership that allows players to pitch in all leagues and tournaments except state tournaments and the world tournament for the period beginning at their first tournament/league entry to the end of the current calendar year. During their Provisional time, a member can upgrade to Full member at any time.

A Full membership allows players to pitch in all leagues and tournaments including their home charter’s state tournament and the world tournament.

Entering a Sanctioned Tournament - Contestants shall be seeded into Tournament Classes based on their current ringer percentage shown in eShoe at the time of the entry deadline.

No Current Average - Any contestant without a current ringer average at their pitching distance shall pitch a minimum of one hundred (100) consecutive shoes on a sanctioned court to establish their tournament seeding percentage. This qualifying must be scored in writing and witnessed by one (1) NHPA member no more than thirty (30) days prior to the entry deadline. Note: This 100-shoe qualifier is not a sanctioned event. Alternately, NHPA Sanctioned League ringer percentage averages may be used if they are based on one hundred (100) or more shoes.
